A popular place for brunch on the weekends - the line of people waiting out front is sort of an amorphous blob. I was a little dubious about the system: one host who remembers everyone's faces and party sizes. Turns out he has a beautiful mind. Also, the line moves fairly quickly. The food quality is definitely above average for a diner. Eggs benedict were perfectly poached. The sausages I ordered on the side were juicy and girthy. I think the real star was the blueberry pie pancakes. They were topped with ice cream (!) and the interplay between hot / cold and fruity / creamy... it was a cultural reset. For a restaurant so busy, I thought the service was great. They don't exactly linger to ask you how your day is going, but I found everyone to be very attentive (they even brought new utensils between our savory and sweet "courses" without us asking). My only note is that certain seats next to the waiter station are subject to what can only be described as a raucous din. Said waiter station could also benefit from a deep clean.

My go to place! This restaurant has the best food. My children love it. Been coming with my son once a month for the past ten plus years and now my daughter wants breakfast as her reward for wherever! Their avocado, arugula, and tomato omelette is phenomenal. Even their coffee is good. Food is spectacular and service is exceptional. Highly recommend.

My husband and I hadn't been to Clark's for some time -- but our visit was as lovely as we remembered. Our son had visited regularly over his high school years with a group of his friends and they were always treated with respect -- which was a huge win for all of us. It's diner food; so, there lots of easy options for all. He had a split pea soup and a wrap while I had chili con carne and a side salad. Both of our meals came out quickly, were filling, and tasted good. Our servers were pleasant, and knew their menu. The restaurant was still decorated for the holidays -- but nothing detracted from the open seating. FYI: It is Brooklyn Heights; so expect to pay a lot more than you would at a diner elsewhere.

A beautiful open space and friendly diner feel with food that is to die for! We came across this restaurant while we were in town and absolutely loved it! The service was great and we were seated right away. It's filled with local diners who are regulars and travelers visiting from out of town, all enjoying their time. We tried the poached eggs with smoked salmon on potatoes as well as the breakfast burrito and it was so flavorful and filling. Overall loved this diner and I can't wait to come back! Highly recommend!

This is the quintessential neighborhood diner where everyone knows ur name. Very cute corner location. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is SOOOOOOO GOOOD and plentiful. The pancakes come in a stack of 3 the width of the entire plate. Likely 1 order is enough for 2. We had the blueberry pancakes with whipped cream. Full of blueberries. Great texture, not too thick or thin. The whipped cream melted pretty quickly but nice smooth creamy taste not too sweet 9/10; Nutella pancakes are for the Nutella lovers. Same pancake different topping just as good 9/10; big breakfast comes with your choice of eggs, meat, and pancake or french toast. The French toast was super thick and creamy. So tasty 9/10. This is a must visit while at nyu Tandon or in Brooklyn heights. Great food big portions but the menu is confusing. We wound up paying 30.00 more than expected because of how we ordered. This is likely an issue they have often as the menu isn't clear at all. TIP: GET THE BUG BREAKFAST. Anything else will be ala carte and the price will add up quickly.

This day is a Mother's Day... I arrived and have a 10 minute wait period, and the hostess and who seem like the manager were awesome about greeting and accommodating us. Standing in the rain waiting for a table has never felt great! Great energy from the staff... are all in smiles and helpful. I like the atmosphere here... it's definitely a cozy vibe. Food is good... this was the best waffle I have ever had in a long time. Glad, I stopped here for Mother's Day! Live, love and laugh! - Sha

Clark's was a very chill vibe. Nothing fancy, but still a good time overall. I would return to try some of the many menu options they have. GLOWS: -Service was efficient and effective -I enjoyed my avocado toast meal - On the way out, I got a corn muffin from the bakery, which was absolutely delicious. The choc chip cookie was too. GROWS: - You cannot get the flavored pancake option in a single pancake. So if you want some flavor, you'll have to get a full order . - The bathrooms are uncomfortably small. It felt like I was in the "chokey" from Matilda. -The tables are very close together. Good for getting in, but there will be some squeezing you'll have to do

Breakfast all day, everyday...with drinks (dranks), located in Brooklyn Heights, on the corner of tree line streets on Clark St. and Henry St., within walking distance of the Brooklyn Promenade and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge never disappoints. I like several dishes however my absolute fav is Benedict's & Eggs Avocado which includes poached eggs, English muffin with hollandaise, I add smoked Salmon. My choice of sides for brunch includes Yukon gold fried potatoes always served hot with green peppers and satisfying portions. Prices are modest based on the portions served. Food arrives hot and quickly even during brunch which is their busiest time of day. Did I mention they serve breakfast like all day? Delivery, vegetarian menus, and kids menus are available.

Classy diner that makes you feel like you are dining special, I guess $35 for breakfast does that to you. While classical music subtly plays, you get soft and kind service, but prompt. The portion sizes are plenty for breakfast, the Big Breakfast is certainly a great way to start. Not only that, but everything tastes fresh and hearty. It also helps this restaurant is literally across the street from the 2/3 stop that bears the street and restaurant of the same name. A well deserved 3 for 3.
